Doug Sweeny takes post as President of Y&R West
David Sable and Tom Sebok have announced that Doug Sweeny has been appointed President of the Y&R's West Coast operations. Doug is coming to Y&R from Levi Strauss & Co. where he was the VP of Global Marketing.
Starting his new position in early June, Sweeny will be based in San Francisco and will be responsible for leading both Y&R’s San Francisco and Irvine agencies. He'll partner with Y&R West Chief Creative Officer, Joe Kayser — a reunion for the two who were partners in running the global business for Adidas at TBWA/Chiat/Day in San Francisco.
At Y&R West, Doug will be work with clients such as Chevron, Mattel, Jenny Craig and Citrix, to name a few.
