Graham Lang
Chief Creative Officer, Y&R South Africa
Graham started his career at The Jupiter Drawing Room Cape Town. He quickly moved up the ranks and became CD. Graham helped build the agencies creative reputation by winning a host of local and international awards including one of the counties first ever Silver Pencils at D&AD. He was also the first SA judge at D&AD.
He moved to Saatchi & Saatchi London in 2003 and continued to produce award winning work on local and global campaigns for clients such as P&G, Toyota, NSPCC, Sony Ericsson and Bacardi.
In 2008 Graham joined RKCR/Y&R in London as Global Integrated Creative Director on Land Rover. Land Rover Won 3 Lions in Cannes in 2010 as well as picking up at other local and international shows. Graham helped to guide Land Rover with integrated global campaigns that have led to good results for LR this year.
During his time abroad Graham has worked on some of the biggest brands across Europe, The US and Asia. Throughout his career Graham has won numerous trophies in all international and local award shows and work has been awarded across a variety of disciplines at BTAA, Campaign, Creative Circle, Cannes, D&AD, One Show, Clio’s, Andy’s, and Eurobest.

The decision to leave London was a tough one but it just illustrates how much potential I think there is in SA.
