Oct 03, 2018

The Spikes Asia 2018 awards were handed out this week and several VMLY&R campaigns were among the honorees. Y&R Melbourne and Monash University’s Sip Safe took home one of the top prizes - a Grand Prix for Brand-led Education & Awareness. The innovative Sip Safe bracelets, which test for drug-spiked drinks, also received a Silver Spike in Media, Bronze in Environmental/Social Impact Design and 2 Shortlists.

VML Sydney was awarded two shortlists for its UNICEF Hope Page which enabled people to contribute some of their computer’s spare processing power to mine cryptocurrency, which then automatically donated to UNICEF.
