We're excited to announce that Mauricio Rocha, CEO of Y&R Madrid, has been selected as the first President to led the jury in the "Graphic" category for the international festival, El Ojo de Iberoamérica. Each year, El Ojo recognizes and celebrates the best ideas, professionals, and companies in the communications industry within the Iberoamerican region.
Rocha has experience working for big brands such as Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Opel, Susuki, Coca-Cola, Johnnie Walker, McDonald’s, Movistar, Telefónica, P&G, amongst many others. In 2015, Tony Granger, Global Chief Creative Officer of Y&R, called him to lead Tapsa Y&R’s transformation into Y&R Madrid. In just two and a half years, he managed to put the agency in the Spanish, Iberoamerican and global creative map.
The following year, he was recognized as one of the Best Creative Directors in El Ojo de Iberoamérica and has led Y&R Madrid to win 21 Lions in Cannes and one Grand Prix in El Ojo 2016. Rocha also succeeded in positioning Y&R Madrid amongst the top three most awarded European agencies.
These recognitions and triumphs have led him to become one of the most important Iberoamerican creatives in recent years. We can't wait to see what he accomplishes next!
